Reservations are HIGHLY encouraged. Due to the popularity of this activity and the limited seating, during peak times and weekends there is a very good chance we will not have openings. However, if there is room on the boat, walk-ups are welcome.
The best choice is to click on our reservations link and pick your times. You can see how many seats are available, and pick the best time around your vacation schedule, or lack of schedule. You may also call (361) 774-5792 and make reservations during operating hours.
No problem. Some people want to get the \”lay of the land\” before they come fly with us. If you are unsure, we suggest that you come on down to the dock, see our operation, and talk to the folks just getting back from their trip. We know what kind of fun they have each and every trip, and they will have no problem convincing you of why you should go up. You can book your slot right then and there. One word of caution though, we book up pretty quickly as we get closer to take off time, so it may be tougher to get a spot to fly right away.
Parasailors must be at least 7 years old to fly. Anyone 17 or younger must have a parent/guardian to sign the liability forms. There is no maximum age limit for flyers. We not only like to pair or triple up our younger riders because they get to share the experience, but we also do it to get the weight up to our 150 lb. minimum so that the chute can fly that much better. Observers must be at least 2 years old to ride on the boat.
This is south Texas and we are known for our hot and sunny days. Bathing suits and beach attire are always recommended but not required, and we will pretty much send you up in anything you feel like putting on. Dress however you are comfortable but do remember you are around water and can very easily get wet, even just riding on the boat. We will ask that you leave your shoes behind at the dock.
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your camera, video recorder or any other electronic device on board you would like. Having said that, we do not recommend that you bring these items on board, as electronics and salt water do not go well together. That is why we offer to take photos of your trip and you can rent a rugged HD video camera from us, and not mess up your stuff and ruin your trip. Chute’em Up, LLC will not be responsible for any loss or damage to electronics brought on board. We do offer photography packages and suggest you inquire about those and leave your expensive cameras at home where they are safe and dry.
